Job Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the process commissioning of our ion beam and plasma systems both at our facilities and at customer sites in Germany and abroad
  • You are responsible for setting up, optimizing, and documenting processes
  • You perform process-related service work and conduct technical acceptance tests on systems
  • You support the development and further improvement of ion beam and plasma technologies, including ion beam based processing methods
  • By collaborating with R&D, Engineering, Software, Project Management, and Customer Service, you continuously contribute to improving our processes and products

Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a technical degree, for example in physics, materials science, physical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
  • Ideally, you have first experience in the development, operation and optimization of ion beam, plasma or comparable vacuum-based process systems
  • Knowledge of optical metrology or comparable characterization would be an advantage
  • You have an excellent command of English; knowledge of German would be an advantage
  • You are a team player with strong communication skills and a reliable approach to work
