Summary

Job Responsibilities

  • You work on the development and design of innovative software algorithms for in-situ monitoring and control of optical filter coating processes in high-vacuum coating systems, specifically for applications in precision optics and semiconductor technology
  • You apply machine learning methods and artificial intelligence to increase the performance and accuracy of monitoring systems
  • You are responsible for the continuous optimization of algorithms based on feedback from computer simulations and real coating experiments
  • You publish research results in scientific journals and present them at international conferences

Qualifications

  • You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
  • You possess good programming skills in Python, C#, or a comparable programming language
  • You have a strong interest in and ideally experience with developing solutions in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and/or German
