Job Responsibilities

  • Sie forschen zusammen mit der TU Darmstadt im Rahmen einer möglichen Promotion mit Methoden des Maschinellen Lernens an innovativen Algorithmen, die der präzisen Überwachung und Steuerung von Prozessen in Hochvakuum-Beschichtungsmaschinen für Anwendungen in der Präzisionsoptik- und Halbleiterfertigung dienen
  • Sie verschmelzen Methoden des Maschinellen Lernens und der Regelungstechnik zur Steigerung der Leistungsfähigkeit und Genauigkeit von Überwachungssystemen
  • Sie legen neue Grundlagen für die Prozesskontrolle in diesem zukunftsträchtigen Arbeitsgebiet bei einem Weltmarktführer
  • Sie kooperieren an der TU Darmstadt mit dem Fachgebiet Control and Cyber-Physical Systems
  • Sie veröffentlichen Ihre Forschungsergebnisse in wissenschaftlichen Fachzeitschriften und Präsentationen auf internationalen Konferenzen

Qualifications

  • Sie haben ein abgeschlossenes (universitäres) Master- oder Diplomstudium mit hervorragenden Leistungen in Elektrotechnik, Technischen Kybernetik, Mechatronik, Verfahrenstechnik, Data Science, Informatik, Mathematik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
  • Sie verfügen über Erfahrungen im Bereich des Maschinellen Lernens, der Regelungstechnik/Automatisierungstechnik und dynamischen Systemen
  • Sie besitzen sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch und/oder Deutsch
