Summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform onsite inspection, installation and commissioning of equipment / machines, troubleshooting and customer training of Buhler products.
  • Perform automation and/or electrical remote support when required by customer.
  • Promote and support after sales activities with active spare parts and retrofit upgrade sales.
  • Support Sales team in term of technical, investigations and site visiting.
  • Standby for requisitions from internal & external.
  • Liaise with production sites and regional team for technical support and back up.
  • Regular communication with customer representatives from technician to management level.
  • Prepare written reports in full details of the service activities including pictures and explanation of the trouble process.
  • Service Report submission after job finish, should not more than a week to Supervisor and/or Team Leader to claim the travel expenses and the report will be submitted to Service Operations Manager for final approval.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the process industry and automation & electrical engineering
  • Technical knowledge to understand customer needs: Sufficient technical background (depends on market) to understand client processes, not only machines but overall transformation process and operations processes
  • Knowledge of sales and service in process engineering operations to recommend customers in Buhler products
