Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and keep records on production equipment, vehicles, HVAC, building and grounds and security system. See day to day functionality of manufacturing equipment and make/oversee repairs as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs trouble-shooting and diagnostic tests on all types of production equipment Investigates and executes economic repair options on production equipment
- Executes preventative maintenance program
- Maintains inventory of maintenance spare parts
- Assists in the installation of new equipment, and relocation of existing equipment Performs maintenance on buildings, grounds and facility infrastructure
- Coordinates with outside resources for delivery of repair goods and services
- Maintains the highest quality of workmanship
- Requires minimal supervision
- Accepts/performs other responsibilities/duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
- Complete tasks and operate equipment in a safe manner
- Work at an acceptable and communicated level of productivity
Qualifications
Job Specifications: (Desired education and experience)
- Vocational training in blue print reading, basic machining and basic quality control
- Strong electrical / mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Minimum five years in the industrial maintenance field
- Minimum two years vocational training
- Must have a current North Carolina driver’s license
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word and Excel software
- Must be able to wear safety equipment(hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses)
- Ability to work overtime when needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Mechanical -- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, control systems and HVAC systems.
Design -- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Building and Construction -- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in basic carpentry and construction.
Engineering and Technology -- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
Production and Processing -- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
