Summary

Buhler Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is looking for skilled personnel to join our team as Service Operations Specialist (Transactional Services). This position will be responsible to accelerate the quote fulfillment, follow-up on quotes and conversion to orders, and report out the deliverables.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the Request for Quotation daily, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Track and update quotation status in the relevant ERP system and tools, including customer interactions, follow-up dates, expected closure timelines, and reasons for delays.
  • Ensure timely closure of quotes by converting them into orders & updating the status accordingly in the relevant ERP system & Tools
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quote activities in the relevant business system.
  • Update customer interactions, follow-up dates, expected closure timelines, and quote status.
  • Generate regular reports on: Open quotes, Quote aging, Conversion rate, Lost opportunities, Follow-up actions pending
  • Provide weekly and monthly summary reports to management.
  • Work closely with customer and Internal stake holders
  • Escalate important commercial issues such as delayed quotes, approvals, pricing concerns, or payment blocks.
  • Ensure proper communication between internal teams and customers for smooth order conversion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in the field of specialization
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Working Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Fluent communication skill in English language
  • Fluent communication in Arabic is an added advantage
