Summary
Bühler Group in Johannesburg, South Africa is looking for a passionate and skilled professional to join our team as Area Sales Manager. This position will be responsible to drive revenue growth and market share by implementing strategic sales plans and building strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Derive, define, and implement the personal action plan to contribute to sustainably & profitably grow the PP, SMB, but also the CS business of the defined territory and assigned Business Units
- Understand customer needs - Analysis of the demand for Bühler offerings/ solutions (Market development, trends, competition, etc.)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners within the Region & Sub-Region (Customer Service, quote, technology, fulfilment, etc.) as well as towards key people of assigned BUs.
- Use and follow the Bühler SQ-process (sales cycle)
- Use the Bühler CRM as well as the Bühler complaint system as key tools for the daily sales work.
Qualifications
- Strong background in milling, nutrition (other BUs a plus) and relevant working experience
- Bachelor Degre/ Diploma: Mechanical Engineering
- Strong commercial understanding
- Leadership experience and potential
- Tools: CRM, Complaint mgmt, Microsoft Office
- Business English on strong level; every further local language an advantage
