Summary

Bühler Group in Johannesburg, South Africa is looking for a passionate graduate to join our team as IT Trainee. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience through collaboration with experienced professionals, developing new skills and understanding company-specific procedures, while also improving the technical and problem-solving abilities necessary for a successful career in information technology. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Providing technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Installing and configuring computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Assisting with network setup and troubleshooting.
  • Participating in the maintenance and upgrades of computer systems.
  • Collaborating with senior IT support staff to learn and develop new skills.
  • Logging and documenting support requests and resolutions.
  • Assisting with user account creation and management.
  • Checking software licences and hardware inventory.
  • Keeping up to date with technology advancements and industry best practices.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional conduct.
  •  Assisting in training end-users on the use of software and hardware.
  • Adhering to security protocols and maintaining system integrity.
  • Assisting with IT projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant National Diploma / Degree (Btech) in IT
  • Any relevant IT support experience
