Summary

Bühler Group in Lagos, Nigeria is looking for a skilled professional to join our team as Senior Field Service Engineer. This position will be responsible to provide services to the customers during installation of the machines and its entire life cycle.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support and maintenance services to clients in the field, adhering to company standards and procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Perform technical assistance, training and other after sales services of the machines
  • Sharing of experience and feedback to other projects and functions
  • Conduct routine maintenance, repairs and commissioning of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimizing downtime
  • Ensure the quality of the activities carried out is as per Company standards
  • Coordination of all tasks with other functions within the Business unit, e.g. generate sales opportunities follow up on sales quotations, initiate sales of service contracts
  • Creation of delegation reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Mechatronics engineering
  • Minimum Of 7 years’ experience in field service engineering, with a proven track record of problem solving, strong technical expertise and understanding of relevant industry standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and travel frequently to client sites
  • Fluent communication skill in English language
