Summary

Buhler Group in Lahore, Pakistan is looking for a passionate individual to join us as Mechanical Installation Engineer in our Project Execution Team. This role would be responsible to lead and provide services to the customers during installation of the machines and its entire life cycle provide in Middle East & Africa as per business needs while ensuring the safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform installation according to the specifications and engineering documents, considering the safety instructions, environmental protection measures and local regulations reading and understanding technical plans and documents.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed deadlines and immediate reporting of expected delays.
  • Conduct or attend daily and weekly meetings with Bühler staff and subcontractors, ensure that the Site Manager and the Project Manager receive regular updates.
  • Create drawings, sketches, and work packages.
  • Manage and lead the onsite team and improve the cost, schedule, quality and EHS targets.
  • Precise work in a millimeter range and knowledge of local standards in the mechanical sector.
  • Ensure that the engineering department is involved in handling technical problems and decisions.
  • Capture return of experience and best practice, apply lessons learned to all templates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years in the similar industry.
  • Knowledge in MS projects, AutoCAD, and 3D Plant Layout Software.
  • Fluent communication skill in English.
