Summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and prepare manufacturing resources for new products and support them throughout the entire lifecycle.
    • New product activities: lead Design for Manufacturing (DfM), drive standardization, establish and track product cost models, plan production and manage ramp-up.
    • Lifecycle responsibilities: lead Design to Cost / Scale to Cost (DtC/StC) projects, manage product transfer projects (PDT), and oversee product phase-outs.
  • Drive cross-site MLS projects in Breathing & Balancing as well as Insourcing & Outsourcing domains.
  • Lead and steer MLS projects (NPI, PDT, DtC/StC, Phaseout, and regional Value Engineering initiatives) in close collaboration with M2M.
  • Own MLS Kanri KPIs: consolidate global data, interpret insights, define metrics, and set targets.
  • Ensure compliance with required processes and standards.

Qualifications

  • Technical education in engineering 
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in a production or product development environment
  • Expertise in manufacturing technologies (sheet metal, welding, machining, painting, assembly)
  • Strong systems skills: solid SAP knowledge and good MS Office proficiency; fluent German and good English
