Summary

Responsible to deliver Buhler’s required quotation services within the given timeframe and required quality, while ensuring compliance with Bühler-related directives and EHS standards.

Job Responsibilities

Sales / Quotation Support / Technical Consultation

Provide needed support to Sales and other departments as needed for sales and quotation
Liaise with different SAS and departments, as well as other colleagues for all aspects of quotation support
Provide technical consultation and support for Sales and customers pertaining to quotations. If needed, recommend alternative options and solutions

Quote Generation

Identify machines and services according to correct specifications and input into the necessary software/tools
Perform technical and commercial review of purchase orders, requests for quotation, flow sheets, data sheets, concept / installation drawings, and specifications.
Generate machine specificiations, services, and quotations, based on material/customer requirements provided by Sales.
Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers for installation and labor costs as needed

Serives Project Quotation

Manage the allocated scope of work to achieve the Service Project Business quotation goals and objectives.
Focus on handling quotations assigned from Service Project Quotation Pool and ensures timely submission.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering
Minimum 2-3 years as Quotation Engineer or proof of sufficient skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, AutoCAD 3D and Navigator would be an advantage
Good understanding of working process during Sales Quotation / Fulfilment phase
Experience in Project Management / Process Engineering is a plus
Should have sound knowledge of incoterm while importing within SEA countries (as such Free trade agreements, import license requirement, restrictions to import certain material from certain country, certification requirement etc)
Able to comfortably work in a matrix organization
Good spoken and written communication skills (compulsory in English and other regional languages as an added advantage)
