Summary
As Lead Project Engineer, you will provide the required engineering services within the time schedule and required quality, while ensuring compliance with Bühler related directives and EHS standards. You will be managing technical interfaces with customers, and shall be the point of contact of the responsible Project Manager/Director.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage allocated projects in technical aspects to achieve the project goals and objectives
- Actively participate in project meetings with cross - functional team members, suppliers, and/or customers
- Support Project Manager/Director to ensure proper project execution according the Bühler Project engineering processes and provide technical support in case of Claims and Deviations
- Track schedules to ensure assigned parts of the projects are executed completely and on time
- Prioritise and manage work hours to support budgeted hours and scheduled due dates for projects, ensure on time placement of purchase orders and deliveries
Qualifications
- Higher technical education in Engineering or related field of study (Professional School / Technical College)
- Minimum 3 years as Project Engineer or proof of sufficient skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing principles
- Planning, organizing and coordinating skills in an international, multi-cultural environment
- Proven ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors
