Summary

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Manager who is passionate about transforming data into insights that drive growth. In this role, you will work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to deepen our understanding of customers and markets across North America. You will source, integrate, and analyze customer, market, and campaign data to uncover trends and provide actionable recommendations that inform marketing strategies and demonstrate impact. You will create clear, compelling reports that support decision-making and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will manage and optimize our CRM system (SAP CRM), ensuring data quality, accurate reporting, and providing training for users. This position also leads key programs such as Voice of the Customer (VOC) and the IBASE database, enabling smarter customer segmentation and resource allocation. Job Responsibilities

- Lead Business Intelligence Team, drive the development and execution of Business Intelligence strategies to deliver market and customer insights into the North America region. 
- Communicate and collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to source and integrate data from multiple sources. 
- Analyze customer and market data to identify trends and patterns to generate BI insight reports. 
- Deliver clear and actionable reports to leadership to guide decision making. 
- Lead administration of the CRM system and ensure a high degree of data integrity. 
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to conduct market research as needed. 
- Responsible for preparing and analyzing Buhler data and generating BI insights reports. 
- Planning and executing Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs. 
- Personnel coaching and development. 
- Must arrive at work promptly and predictably. 
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics 
- Demonstrated experience and success with CRM (such as SAP CRM or Salesforce), Power BI and VOC platforms (such as Listen360, Medallia or Qualtrics). 
- 1-3+ years of formal marketing experience, preferably in B2B durable goods and services  
- 5+ years of Business Intelligence/Analytics, Data Science and/or analytics experience is ideal
- Prefer experience with Agile principles and methodology. 
- Prefer experience in capital equipment sales and service organization.  
- Excellent analytical skills 
- Experience and training in BI tools and methods, including Power BI, Excel, Python, etc. 
- Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams. 
- Proven performance as a self-starter, with a sense of urgency that embraces an entrepreneurial approach amidst ambiguity. 
- Proven interpersonal skills and savvy, being effective in listening, verbal, and written communication to work in high-performance teams, developing customer relationships. 
- Proven ability to work under pressure of deadlines and work with minimal supervision. 
- Proven decision-making ability; making decisions in the best interest of both company and customer, demonstrates creativity and effectiveness in decision making within established company guidelines. 
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, delegate, and multi-task. 
- Demonstrated strategic thinker, ability to translate data insights to strategy to tactical action/execution. 
- Ability to identify, evaluate, problem solve and give direction regarding problem resolution for individual and company issues at both strategic and functional levels. 
- Computer skills, MS Office Suite, intra & internet application, etc. 
- Based in Plymouth, Minnesota or other Bühler North America office. 
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including occasional international travel, as required.
