HR Generalist

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is the driving force behind an organization’s people strategy—balancing empathy, expertise, and efficiency to build a thriving workplace. From attracting and onboarding top talent to nurturing employee growth and engagement, they ensure every stage of the employee experience runs seamlessly. With a deep understanding of recruitment, compliance, training, and culture, the HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in aligning people with purpose, fostering collaboration, and shaping a resilient, high-performing organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees onboarding for new hires, ensuring understanding of HR policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Maintains accurate employee records and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Provides HR guidance to managers and employees, handling employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions.

  • Partners with leadership on recruitment, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.

  • Promotes company values and culture to enhance engagement, performance, and workplace excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources with 4+ years of broad HR experience or equivalent background.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/workforce management systems.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.

  • Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
