Summary

As an International Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are delivered smoothly and reliably across the globe. You’ll take ownership of coordinating international shipments, proactively addressing potential disruptions, and keeping stakeholders informed every step of the way. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are delivered on time, on cost, and to the highest quality standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating shipping of equipment around the world including all modes of transportation. 
  • Knowledge in Incoterms, Harmonized Codes, Schedule B Number.
  • Working and managing Buhler’s relationship with the carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers. 
  • Tracking and reporting data. 
  • Work closely with all areas involved in the supply chain: Customer Service, Project Execution, procurement, Accounting, Commercial, Manufacturing, warehouse and shipping departments of Buhler. 
  • Frequent use of Excel, SAP, and Word programs.

Qualifications

  • College Degree Preferred. 
  • At 3-5 years experience in international shipping, and logistics, purchasing or fulfillment. 
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP preferred.  
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Mircosoft Office software. 
  • Logistics experience in strategically designing, implementing and modifying complex supply chains across multiple modes. 
  • Ability to assign routes for all types and sizes of shipments according to delivery dates assigned. 
  • Experience in all modes of logistics providing the ability to analyze the supply chain and make adjustments and recommendations to improve service and cost.
