Summary

In this role, you’ll lead maintenance and utilities activities at our Food Application Center, ensuring equipment performs at its best. You’ll take ownership of daily maintenance schedules, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and play a key role in trial execution. Job Responsibilities

- This position is responsible for supervising and performing maintenance responsibilities including predictive maintenance, equipment repair and rebuild, electrical, and maintenance training programs.
- Responsible for applications center maintenance including utilities, and operations to reduce downtime and assure successful execution of trials. 
- Troubleshooting equipment, mechanically or electrically, must be able to read electrical diagrams.
- Maintain a schedule and update maintenance schedule in the Food Application Center.
- Will partner with engineering team to do proper process upgrades and continuous improvement.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to assure all inspections are up to date.
- Support Food Safety and 5S activities.
- Setting up, commissioning, aligning, and preparing trials in our facility.
- Support on smooth running of trials, both internal and external to support our customers in their new projects.
- Participates in continual learning activities and applies practical application to work performed.
- Participates in all aspects of customer trials including milling and extrusion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Technical diploma or related degree in mechatronics or related field. 5+ years of maintenance or field service experience ideally in the food industry.
- Microsoft Office experience required.
- SAP experience is ideal.
- Experience working with PLCs, preferably Allen Bradley.
- Able to work collaboratively with a team in order to achieve a common goal.
- Utilizes effective approaches for choosing a course of action for developing appropriate solutions.
- Sets clear goals and functions effectively under critical and tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and other pressures.
Presents information, analysis, and ideas in writing in a clear and concise manner.
