Head of African Milling School (AMS)

Buhler Group in Nairobi, Kenya is looking for a skilled Milling Expert to join us as the Head of African Milling School (AMS). This position will be responsible for managing the AMS business and its employees and conduct trainings focusing mainly on training customer personnel and internal employees. The position will report to Buhler East Africa Subregional Head.

Job Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and deliver training programs at the African Milling School.

Define course content, materials, schedules, and continuously improve training concepts.

Guide, manage and lead the other teachers of the school and develop them.

Define the contents, materials and dates of the course and further develop the training concepts.

Supervise the course participants and cater support to customers in guided tours and representations.

Lead on-site trainings for customers and partners.

Ordering material to fulfil responsibilities.

Implement measures to prevent overload of African Milling School infrastructure.

Regularly check the condition of the facilities at African Milling School.

Plan and execute the business development for the AMS under the umbrella of Buhler East Africa.

Internal forwarding of any customer inquiries or needs.

Ensuring high utilization of the school, minimize coverage gaps, and oversee AMS financial performance within the Customer Service business pillar of Buhler Nairobi.

Managing external stakeholders including universities, training, funding and development organizations to increase market awareness of Buhler East Africa, to enhance the development of the business in the region.

Qualifications

Master Miller degree and/or Milling School degree(SMS, DMSB or others)

Completed apprenticeship as a Miller.

Several years of professional experience in the field of milling.

Pedagogical training is an added advantage.

Knowledge and experience in feed technology or others is an advantage.

Experience in the field of training.
