Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Support Customers and our Collaboration Partner (Givaudan) in the product development of plant-based meat analogues, using extrusion technology
- Run and evaluate the extrusion process for internal trials
- Communicate proactively with customers in the planning of product trials, including managing timelines, preparation of raw materials, expectations of results
- Support the Technologists in preparing comprehensive trials reports to be presented to customers and relevant parties involved post trials
- Involvement in the Plant-Based Ecosystem and identifying the latest innovations and applying them at the PIC
- Proactively seek and attract new customers for the PIC to fill the pipeline of users on an ongoing basis
- Prepare customer’s trials quotes and contracts for potential customers, support in contract negotiations till completionCollaborate with customers / shipping agents and prepare relevant documents for raw materials import and samples export
- Present Buhler solutions to potential customers at PIC visits
- Support the Manager with trials’ cost and pricing analyses
- Managing order processing queries with the respective departmentResponsible for Purchase Order and Good Receipts documentation
Qualifications
- Preferrably Master Degree in Food Science, Industrial/ Food Processing, Chemical Engineering, or any relevant discipline
- Bachelor Degree holder with relevant industry / expertise experience will be considered
- At least one (1) to two (2) years relevant R&D experience
- Demonstrated ability to research, plan and present solutions/ ideas for problem solving/ business relevant topics/initiatives
- Experience working in global/ multinational companies is a plus.
- Experience in the Plant Based ecosystem and existing relations in the network locally or regionally is a plus
