Summary
Generate revenue and profit in assigned areas, through an active promotion of the entire Bühler portfolio of products and services, with specific mandate from the sales management to focus on following opportunities related to Customer Service and Short Cycle Business products.
The role will plan and execute sales visits to customers and prospects with the objective of maintaining and expand the customers’ base further.
Focus of the activities is mainly concentrated in developing the assigned markets while listening customers’ needs in the moment of requirements of new single equipment, Customer Service products and all the product and services which have a “short realization cycle”.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze purchase behavior and lost share by customer, product, and country to identify root causes and opportunities.
- Support country and regional experts in driving discussions with customers on strategical parts such as dies, rollers and rolls, and wear parts
- Develop and implement new, creative concepts that bundle parts with services (audits, optimization, maintenance, training) to secure our competitive edge and protect margin.
- Plan and execute sales visits to customers and prospects
- Listen to customers, actively monitor assigned markets, report and provide feedback about market intelligence
- Plan, prepare and execute sales negotiations
- Collect and maintain accurate information about accounts, contacts, sales leads and opportunities
- Design basic sales strategies for the development of the assigned areas and markets
- Establish a broad network within markets
- Develop an understanding of customer decision process and criteria
- Actively use cross selling opportunities
Qualifications
- University degree in economics, engineering, ore related fields
- Good English skills, written and spoken
- Deep industry knowledge of Bühler portfolio, relevant for the business area
- General experience and familiarity with commercial environment
- Experience in cross-BU selling
- Experience in Digital Selling is highly desirable
- Preferably has Marketing knowledge and capability in design sales strategies
- Experience in Technical Sales Support or in Sales Quotation and Back-office departments is an advantage
