Summary
The Service Agreements Regional Partner is responsible for driving the growth and execution of service agreements across Southeast Asia. This role partners closely with the Sales organization to expand Bühler’s service portfolio by identifying opportunities, developing tailored contractual solutions, and securing long-term service agreements. The position plays a critical role in defining commercial structures, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering customer success through strong contractual partnerships.
Job Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the assigned portfolio of service agreements (e.g., Remote Services, Inspection, and Maintenance), ensuring delivery excellence and high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and lead a regional support structure, including quotation management, contract delivery, and back-office operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual service matters, ensuring timely and effective execution aligned with customer expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Project Execution, Field Service, Spare Parts, and Automation teams to deliver integrated service solutions.
- Drive operational excellence and standardization of service agreement management across the SEA region.
- Oversee contract renewal processes, pricing strategies, and cost control measures to maintain profitability.
- Develop and present integrated service proposals that balance customer needs with business objectives.
- Support the identification, development, quotation, and negotiation of complex service agreements.
- Establish and maintain region-specific cost calculation models in alignment with global guidelines.
- Work with technical, legal, finance, and commercial teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and competitive proposals.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quotations, contracts, and handover processes.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders on proposal status, pricing updates, and contract execution progress.
- Collaborate with global teams to share insights and continuously improve service offerings and customer experience.
- Support the implementation of service frameworks, processes, tools, and best practices within the region
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in value-based selling or front-end commercial roles.
- Strong understanding of maintenance strategies and planning methodologies.
- Solid commercial acumen, including pricing, cost management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven approach.
- Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization across multiple countries and business units.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
