Regional Head of Sales & Operations Planning (SOP)
The regional Head of SOP is fully responsible for all SOP related tasks within the region. The role is embedded into a global SOP framework with interfaces into the other regions and a solid reporting line to the Group SOP to ensure synchronicity with group objectives.
- Functional tasks
- Managing the monthly SOP cycle for the region
- Demand to capacity to supply related turnover planning aligned with Group targets
- Ensure supply related turnover
- Coordination of orders into slot planning
- Balancing of orders into other factories following the SOP process
- Being first level escalation for the team and resolving conflicts (e.g. capacity, lead time,…)
- Working operationally and managing projects as PSSC (need based)
- Ensure on time delivery towards our Customers
- Improvement of data maintenance
(turnover / scheduling relevant data) - Active participation in Just-Do-It meetings (Business / MLS)
- Providing support to quotation teams to ensure adequate lead times
- Accountability for intercompany order processing

Professional Competence:
- Technical background.
- Good understanding of processes.
- Very strong in SAP.
- Several years of professional and hands on experience in planning / managing customer orders.
- Strong customer focused problem-solving approach.
- Good English knowledge.
- Good understanding of plant engineering processes including site requirements.
Methodological Competence:
- Problem solving competence.
- Conflict management.
- Cross functional understanding and action taking.
- Network management skills.
