Summary

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate Bühler’s GD growth in LATAM and Iberia. The role is critical to achieving sales and profitability targets, expanding key customer partnerships, and executing the regional go-to-market strategy. You will strengthen sales channels, identify new applications, and support customer projects with strong technical and commercial expertise.

Job Responsibilities

  • You drive regional growth by building, developing, and executing the GD business in LATAM and Iberia, focusing on wet-grinding and dispersing segments
  • You own key accounts and sales results by managing strategic customers, achieving sales and profitability targets, and delivering forecasting/reporting
  • You implement go-to-market and channel development by rolling out the GD sales strategy, expanding sales/service channels, and coordinating local marketing with SAS
  • You provide customer project support by leading technical and commercial activities in the sales process, including negotiations and on-site/remote engagement
  • You develop markets and capabilities by identifying new applications/markets, analyzing competition, and training/enabling local sales teams with GD know-how

Qualifications

  • Technical degree (HF/FH, engineering/natural sciences) ideally with business training, or a commercial degree with strong experience in technical sales/marketing/business development for capital goods
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) plus Spanish speaking skills at least B1 level
  • Proactive, business-driven personality with strong communication, confident customer presence, and ability to persuade and drive results without direct authority
  • Strong analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, ability to develop a strategy and execute it; solid industry, product, and process knowledge
  • High flexibility, self-organization, resilience, intercultural competence and conflict-handling skills; willingness to travel 50%
