Summary

In the Business Area Grinding & Dispersing, innovative process solutions are developed using wet grinding and dispersing for the production of, for example, printing inks, chemicals & cosmetics, or lithium-ion batteries. 


As part of the finance and commercial team you secure the commercial knowledge across all regions for the  business area Grinding & Dispersing.

Job Responsibilities

  • You create and implement commercial concepts for customer projects
  • You support and consult the sales team
  • You lead commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers  
  • You develop contracts and agreements in collaboration with other specialist departments
  • You ensure compliance with Operational Risk Management (ORM)
  • You optimize and standardize processes in your area of responsibility
  • You participate in strategy and corporate projects in the Grinding & Dispersing area

Qualifications

  • Completed degree (university, university of applied sciences, MBA) in business administration/law or commercial training with relevant further education (e.g., export manager, advanced professional examination, etc.)
  • Several years of professional experience (3+ years) in a similar environment
  • Very good understanding of international contract law and export financing aspects (including taxes, trade affairs and sanctions, compliance, logistics, etc.)
  • Proven track record in negotiations or projects with international customers
  • Strong social skills as well as diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional foreign language an advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally for business (approx. 10%)
  • High degree of independence, assertiveness, stress resistance, and resilience
