Join our team as Export Controll Officer and play a key role in ensuring compliant, efficient, and successful international business operations. In this position, you will be at the forefront of export control, safeguarding adherence to global regulations while supporting cross-border customer projects from initial offer to final delivery. Working in a dynamic and international environment, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, contribute to process improvements and digital initiatives, and make a tangible impact on how we manage export compliance. Job Responsibilities

  • You ensure compliance with export control, sanctions, and embargo regulations (CH, EU, US) while safeguarding adherence to all legal requirements
  • You perform screenings, classifications (ECN/ECCN), and risk assessments, including thorough end-use and end-user evaluations
  • You determine licensing requirements, apply for, and manage export licenses to support smooth and compliant operations
  • You support customer projects end-to-end - from offer to delivery - including cross-border movements and on-site activities - while ensuring accurate export documentation and compliant shipment processes
  • You advise and train internal stakeholders and actively contribute to process improvements, audits, digitalization initiatives, and the maintenance of export control master data

Qualifications

  • Relevant technical or commercial education combined with several years of professional experience in import/export, customs, logistics, or related areas, ideally including export control or project business
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and tools, especially MS Office and SAP (ERP/GTS), with additional expertise in export control systems considered an advantage
  • Structured, independent, and goal-oriented work style, coupled with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional decision-making skills, as well as high attention to sensitive topics
  • High level of commitment, flexibility, resilience, and teamwork, with additional certifications or experience in international export control regulations (CH, EU, US) and multicultural environments viewed as beneficial
  • Confident communicator with a professional presence, capable of interacting effectively with internal and external stakeholders in English; German and other languages are a plus
