Summary

As the great Generation B tradition states, positions at Generation B are usually held for about 12 up to 18 months, before they are rotated around. Rotating the Generation B Lead position is key to constantly feed the movement with fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and motivation. The Global Lead will continue to develop the purpose and structure of Generation B so that the movement can thrive and enable its ambassadors to drive sustainable long-term impact and change. 
The Global Lead role is an exciting opportunity to work with the most motivated people at Bühler, interact within a global network within Bühler and externally, as well as develop your own skills. The role will report to the Chief Technology Officer Ian Roberts and Chief Human Resources Officer Irene Mark-Eisenring, with an extended steering committee of Stefan Scheiber and Dipak Mane. Job Responsibilities

  • You coordinate and develop the global network of Generation B ambassadors to ensure that we can achieve significant, long-term impact.
  • You develop the internal and external ecosystem (e.g. Generation B sponsors, customers, One Young World, Alliance for Corporate Change, …).
  • You enable Generation B to grow and continue to drive change.
  • You develop and implement the strategy with the ambassadors in the movement.
  • You play an essential part in the close collaboration with GenE and D&I, which promotes cooperation.

Qualifications

  • A passion for Generation B and culture change, as well as previous engagement as an active ambassador within Generation B.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience and an ability to motivate team members.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
  • You allocate 50% of your time to this position
  • The working hours are flexible, as this is not a standard 9-5 job due to the need to coordinate with different regions.
