Summary
In this role you are responsible for the execution of customer projects (C2C) from the quotation phase to the handover to the customer, ensuring the customer’s satisfaction and meeting/overachieving their expectations, delivering the projects in time, cost and quality/performance as promised as well as for the financial achievements of the Project and Plant Business of the Business Area on the top and bottom line.
Job Responsibilities
- You manage all aspects of the Project Execution including quotation, develop in an early phase customer’s need-oriented concepts and executions strategies, define frontloaded plans and deliverables, and form dynamic teams for projects
- You develop an inspired and high-performance project execution organization/teams, with skills and competencies to meet the demands of executing complex plant projects
- You align the monthly/quarterly financial targets on the top and bottom line of the Projects and Plant Business with the regions, plan to execute and fulfil accordingly
- You coach the regional teams to success to ensure competitive concepts are quoted, that risks are identified early and mitigated. Stear the opportunity creation from day one of the project.
- You build, train and sustain resources for competitive and cost-effective execution and engi-neering for the business area worldwide as well as you provide active talent and staff management and facilitate the knowledge transfer within the group
- You manage with the team and project managers different commercial topics, organize site management and assess risks and opportunities, develop and implement mitigation plans and escalates issues as appropriate. As well as you make certain that project execution char-ters/strategies and division of works (DoW) are implemented, milestones, quality gates and cost targets/control are strictly managed and enforced
Qualifications
- Master degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration or substantial Business Management back-ground
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the field of plant project execution/ engineering or construction
- Extensive knowledge of project management as well as executing tools, techniques and processes, including scheduling, cost control, progress and productivity analysis, resource loading, and schedule forecasting
- Very good communication skills in English
- Ability to simplify complex technical information into useable Management presentations and communications and strong intercultural skills and abilities for managing of worldwide interfaces
- Good commercial knowledge for assessing business risks and opportunities
