Summary
Are you ready to lead complex global plant projects from quotation to successful customer handover? As Head of Project Execution, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of customer projects, ensuring delivery in line with time, cost, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction targets. You will lead and develop a high-performing international Project Execution organization across project management, engineering, quotation, automation, process technology, and commissioning, while driving financial performance, risk management, compliance, and best-practice execution worldwide. With your strong leadership, commercial mindset, and project execution expertise, you will enable global teams to deliver complex projects successfully and create lasting value for our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- You lead the end-to-end execution of customer projects from quotation to successful handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with quality, performance, and customer satisfaction targets
- You manage project risks, opportunities, contractual obligations, commercial topics, claims, schedules, scope changes, and quality issues together with regional and global project teams
- You build, develop, and coach a high-performing international Project Execution organization across project management, engineering, quotation, automation, process technology, and commissioning
- You drive financial performance for the Project and Plant Business by aligning turnover, margin, cost center, and resource targets with the regions and ensuring effective execution
- You ensure compliance with Bühler project management processes, quality gates, EHS standards, engineering and automation standards, local regulations, and global best practices
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, economics, business administration, or a comparable business management background; PMI, PMP, or similar certification is an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant project execution, engineering, or construction, with solid knowledge of project management methods, tools, and processes
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, including the ability to develop, coach, and manage international teams in a matrix organization
