Summary

In this position you are managing and leading a team of technician required for the installation of medium projects. You are responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of the installation supervision, within scope of work associated to the assigned project. 

Job Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for ensuring full compliance with and implementation of site-specific rules, safety regulations, and environmental protection measures by the assigned personnel
  • You take over installation according to specifications and engineering documents, taking into account safety instructions, environmental protection measures, and local regulations
  • You are responsible for the efficient use of all available tools and aids to achieve your assignment goals and to drive continuous plant improvements and cost reductions
  • You take over the timely request of Bühler specialists and other associated staff through the Site Manager or Project Manager
  • You are responsible for monitoring construction progress against the schedule and, if necessary, initiating corrective and preventive actions to meet target dates—in collaboration with the Site Manager or Project Manager
  • You ensure that the engineering department is involved in handling technical issues and decisions

Qualifications

  • Higher technical education as well as technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Installation Engineer or proof of sufficient skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with site teams and motivate them to meet the project objectives 
  • Very good communication skills in English 
  • Strong planning, organising and priority setting skills, with a proven ability to manage teams
