Summary

The Bühler Group is a Swiss Family Owned Food, Feed and Advanced Material Technology Company. With leading market positions across the globe, an estimated 2 Billion people are fed each day with food processed on Buhler Technologies, and 1 billion people are moved per day with mobility solutions from Bühler technology.Such a global impact comes with responsibility. As such, Bühler have committed to reducing Energy, Waste and Water for 50% within our customers value chains. To track our progress towards this goal we need a quantifying metric. In 2019, Bühler quantified the environmental footprint (CO2eq, land, water-use) of all key products processed through Bühler technology, and quantified the impact of key technologies & services to show how they contribute to reducing the environmental footprint of the products processed by Bühler Customers. They also developed services to support customers to quantify, report and reduce GHG emissions.Bühler are providing a 6 to 12 month internship to continue the environmental quantification project. The purpose of the internship is to continue embedding the methodology into the businesses, support customer projects and ultimately reduce the environmental impact in both the Customer Value Chain and the Bühler Value Chain.This opportunity would allow you to develop expertise in carbon accounting, value-chain thinking and develop your entrepreneurial skills within the company. Job Responsibilities

  • You will drive the environmental quantification project to continue embedding the methodology into the businesses and ultimately reduce the CO2e emissions in both the Customer Value Chain and the Bühler Value Chain
  • You will evolve expertise in carbon counting and value-chain thinking
  • You will develop your entrepreneurial skills within the company
