Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the worldwide commissioning of single machines and simple plants (type C & D projects). You will ensure that all work is carried out in line with Bühler guidelines and EHS standards, while optimizing and adjusting the processes so that the final product consistently meets the agreed quantity and quality according to the contractual specifications.

Job Responsibilities

  • You lead and execute worldwide commissioning of machines and small plants, including I/O tests, dry runs, and resolving technical or installation issues on site
  • You optimize plant performance by assessing installations and adjusting processes so efficiency, product quality, and quantity meet all contractual and Bühler standards
  • You train and support customers on equipment and processes, maintain close communication, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • You document and report systematically by recording machine and process data, keeping a daily log, reporting deviations, and sharing knowledge and best practices within Bühler
  • You prepare assignments thoroughly and ensure EHS compliance by securing all needed information in advance, testing software, and making sure all personnel follow site-specific safety and environmental rules

Qualifications

  • Completed technical education in electronics (e.g. automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics) is mandatory
  • High willingness to travel internationally (80-100%) and work mainly on customer sites ; valid car driving license
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in international, cross-functional and matrix organizations
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving skills, structured work style and clear customer focus
  • Good written and spoken English; able to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
