Summary

Take a key role in developing and improving continuously the HR function in line with the strategic objectives in the global business context of Bühler.

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner in a SAFe environment with strong skills in stakeholder management, a data- and outcome-oriented mindset and familiarity with HR system landscapes.

In your role you are acting as an integrator between the HR function and the agile development team, with the strong ability to translate needs into clear, value-driven product increments. With this you develop and improve constantly the solutions for our HR processes around the core application SAP Success Factors – our global HR platform – and other related HR applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • You are responsible, together with your global agile team, for developing an end-to-end solution covering the entire global business processes for the Employee Lifecycle—from Employee Management to Performance, Goal and Talent Management, Learning & Development, and Compensation & Benefits
  • In a scaled agile setup (SAFe), you and your team ensure continuous value delivery aligned with the overall vision, strategic objectives and product roadmap. Ensuring measurable outcomes), clear OKRs, continuous user feedback loops
  • You collaborate closely with stakeholders within the Bühler organization to understand and refine requirements and design value-adding solutions
  • You own and maintain the feature backlog, define user stories with the team including acceptance criteria, and manage dependencies with other DevOps teams
  • Prioritize using WSJF, participate in PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt; ensure compliance and security requirements are met
  • You advise Bühler business partners on how to create and evolve valuable products and services based on the capabilities provided by you and your team
  • You manage a smooth handover of the solutions into the operations and manage continuously the interface between solution development and operations team

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field (university, FH, HF)
  • Several years of professional experience as a Product Owner, with deep expertise in HR applications; preferably SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM with a strong affinity for business processes and user experience
  • Hands-on experience applying agile methods and the Scrum framework, including backlog and requirements management; experience with the SAFe framework is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile events like Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinements, PI Planning, System Demos
  • Proficiency with tooling such as Azure DevOps
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to mobilize and align stakeholders without formal authority
