Shape the future of milling technology with us. As Team Manager R&D Mechanical, you will lead a team of talented engineers driving the development of innovative solutions in the field of separating processes, one of the core technologies of the milling industry. Combining strong leadership skills with technical expertise, you will guide complex development projects, foster cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to the strategic evolution of our product portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

  • You lead a team of 8 employees responsible for developing new products for the milling industry with the focus of core innovations in “separating processes”
  • You are responsible for the coordination and support of project managers and development engineers in complex development projects
  • You partially lead development projects, ensuring delivery targets (cost, time, quality etc.) and strong stakeholder communication
  • You ensure permanent exchange with product management, technology and quality and manage interfaces accordingly
  • You contribute to strategic planning of the core portfolio representing the technical limitations and possibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master of Science in a technical subject (FH/ETH) - higher qualification and/or advanced leadership training are advantages
  • Minimum 5 years experience in industrial product development as well as 3 years experience in project leadership
  • Excellent mechanical/mechatronic engineering knowledge and knowledge of relevant national and international standards (e.g. machine regulation, explosion protection, Food Contact Materials, CE, UL, … )
  • Very good communication skills in English and German
  • Innovative, creative and positive thinking personality combined with leadership qualities and dedication to achieving team goals
