Summary

Together with your team and the Milling Solutions M2M organization you will drive technology innovations for the global market leader in wheat milling. You will turn innovative ideas into high-impact products and solutions that deliver measurable milling benefits for our customers worldwide. In this role, you develop a highly capable team with deep milling technology expertise and applied market know how. With a clear focus, you safeguard Bühler’s Milling Innovation Market leadership, while living our TOP values and contributing to our vision “innovations for a better world.”  

Job Responsibilities

  • You lead, motivate, and coach a team of approx. 8 employees, you actively drive talent development and succession planning and thus, create visible impact in a matrix organization
  • You lead the technology innovation process, challenge the status quo and push boundaries to translate new ideas into tangible products and solutions that create competitive advantage and customer value
  • You involve our automation and digital specialists seamlessly to ensure the integration of technological benefits into our product and solution developments
  • You provide our development teams with market feedback, track progress, manage deviations, drive transparency, and support the development teams with corrective action plans 
  • You forecast timely, identify risks and opportunities early, and turn lessons learned into scalable best practices and strengthen cross-site and cross-business collaboration 

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of profound market experience in milling solutions and either completed SMS/DMBG certification or masters degree from a food technology university
  • Solid base understanding in mechanical engineering, automation, digital/software, and service, along with a good understanding of business administration, supply chain, and financial topics
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to connect stakeholders across functions and sites and inspire people through motivation, clarity, and passion
  • Proficient in MS Office and common IT tools, as well as a strong affinity for digital technologies
  • Good communication skills in English (B2+); German skills as a plus
