Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the Die Casting procurement team to achieve overall team targets and business objectives.
• Collaborate with global hub supply teams in Switzerland and the US to coordinate the logistics chain and ensure defined requirements are met.
• Develop and optimize the supply chain from a global perspective to support product and business needs.
• Establish global procurement strategies and lead global sourcing activities for die casting categories.
• Define and manage the supplier portfolio, including supplier consolidation, phase-out, and new supplier introduction in line with product requirements.
• Lead annual supplier price negotiations and manage framework agreements.
• Oversee supplier quality performance, support Supplier Quality Engineering in resolving quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and manage supplier claims.
• Support operational buyers in following up supplier deliveries and improving on-time delivery performance.
• Drive supplier relationship management and supplier risk management initiatives.
• Promote parts standardization, simplification, and localization to improve efficiency and cost competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical /Hydraulic /Industrial/Economics, Sourcing & Supply Chain trainings
• More than 10 years Sourcing experience in mechanical industry,
• Experience in relevant sourcing category such as Machining, die casting or injection mould industry, Casting is preferred.
• Proficient in advanced sourcing methodologies, including Total Cost of Ownership analysis, cost breakdown analysis, negotiation, supplier selection, supplier development, and supplier relationship management.
• Good understanding of machining-related manufacturing processes.
• Solid knowledge of company operations, including logistics, finance, production, quality, and R&D.
• Good command of both English and Chinese, in oral and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of using relevant AI tools to improve work efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder interactions effectively.
• Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on building team competence through teaching, coaching, and mentoring.
• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of making sound decisions independently.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and professionally
